Wow! It's January 5th already! My Christmas decorations are still up, can't bring myself to put them away just yet (the house always looks so empty after they go back in their boxes).
We are planning for some exciting new things to happen at Pink Persimmon this year, but we won't share any secrets yet. Once we are pretty sure they are going to happen, then we'll share some sneaks with you.
Since we are sure that 2010 is going to be a "banner" year for all of us, here's a beautiful card by Kelly Schirmer. (The pun police will be at my door any minute with that terrible pun!).
I also wanted to share a link to a inspiring new year blog post by Lisa Pace. Her word for 2010 is "Acceptance". Something we probably all need to have a bit more of for ourselves. Read her post here.
Judi and I are so excited that we will be taking a class at CHA with Lisa Pace! She has been an enthusiastic supporter of Pink Persimmon since our beginning. She has a new book coming out in February called Delight in the Details. We think there might be some creations where she used Pink Persimmon stamps in the book, but we haven't see the finished version, so we're not sure if we made the editors "cut". :) Either way, we know this will be a must have book for your creative library. See the link in her side bar on her blog for pre-ordering.

Oh I cannot wait to meet you two... and yes one of your stamp set projects did make the editors cut. It is proudly featured in my book. I'm so glad you liked my blog post... I had no idea I would be using this word so much already this year.
See you soon.

Hi, ladies! Excited for what you'll be doing in the New Year! Glad it's going well for you!
Will you have a booth at CHA? I'll be there working with Crafty Secrets--hope I can meet you! Excited to see everything there--won't have time to take any classes, though!
