We are back home from the Craft & Hobby Association show in Anaheim. Had a blast! Took some amazing classes (we'll share more in days to come) and met some online friends in person! We were so excited to run into Vicki Chrisman at the Crafty Secrets Booth. She was a guest designer for us back in 2009 and has helped us get our stamps into some well known publications. Vicki has some exciting news too! She is pretty much about everything vintage and created a new die shape that mimics an antique photo holder. You can read more about the actual product here on her blog. The die will be sold with Accucut, but Crafty Secrets will also be selling already cut kits for you to use. Here's one of the samples from the Crafty Secrets booth that uses the shadow box landscape die.
Here's Vicki doing make and takes at the Crafty Secrets booth.
Here's Judi on the left, Vicki and then me (Darcy) on the right. Bear in mind that we have been walking the floor for the whole day when this photo was taken! It was almost 6pm and we all look pretty tired.
AND then who else did we run into at the booth, but Julie Campbell! She was helping at the Crafty Secrets booth and Julie has been a big fan of Pink Persimmon stamps, creating some really cute things for our challenges. Her blog is full of amazing ideas and creative projects. Be sure to check it out, but I am warning you, get some coffee and food because you won't leave your computer for a while. avintagechic.blogspot.com
We had so much fun finally meeting these people in person that we have had online conversations with. It's like finding old friends. :)
More fun ideas coming up. Here's a hint: Judi has been bit by the jewelry bug!

It was so wonderful to meet you both! Hope you had a great time at CHA--we did! Lots of hard work, but tons of fun!

How did I miss Vicki's creation? I saw her demoing but she was pretty busy. Off to check out the info.
