Today we are celebrating the mini card! Small "mini" 3x3 cards are perfect to have on hand as gift cards or quick thank you notes. A set of cards together in a small gift box makes the perfect gift for a friend. Kristie Larsen used several of our smaller stamps to create this sweet and simple set of cards. Kristie used the small mini sentiments from Ric Rac Circle for each card along with a image from another set.
Here are close ups of each card along with the stamp set used.
Cute as a Button Stamp set, along with sentiment "baby" from Ric Rac Circle
Balloons from Vintage Cupcake and sentiment from Ric Rac Circle. A little Divine Twine adds just the right touch.
Wedding couple from Vintage Cupcake and sentiment from Ric Rac Circle.
Snail from Flower Garden and sentiment from Ric Rac Circle.
Another by Kristie with a slightly different outline edge using the You're a Jewel stamp set.
Our last card by Kristie uses the Scottie Dog set along with the circle and sentiment from Ric Rac Circle.
Linda Beeson made this little 3x3 mini card with the Small Banner set.
This little set is from a previous post here back in Feb 2009. I used the Oh Dear stamp set to create 4 cards with envelopes and a coordinating gift box for the set. In that post you'll find a link to the Splitcoast Stampers tutorial for the gift box, and measurements to make the coordinating envelopes.
Since the end of the school year is fast approaching, I am going to try to make set of cards in a coordinating box for each of my kids teachers as a thank you. I think they will appreciate a handmade and useful gift. What other ideas do you have for card sets? How do you package a little set of cards when you are giving them as a gift?

So cute!!
