We gave the Creative Team girls a Kaiser Craft mini album and asked a few of them to make something to celebrate Mother's Day. It did not have to be about or for their own mother, they could choose any mom that they would like to celebrate. I think you'll love some of the great projects they made.
Kristie Larsen chose to make her album a gift for a NEW mom. Here is her explanation: "My niece has just had her first baby who came almost 3 months early. She is still in the NICU and I thought a nice "first time" mother's day present would be fun. So I set up this book to be a first scrapbook for the baby. The only problem is I don't have ANY pics of the baby, and technically you could say its a baby gift ; ). So I made up the pages so all she has to do is slide in the pics. I made sure not to dictate too much how many pics or what size the pics should be (for the most part), so that is why, besides the embellishments, most of the pages are empty."
Kristie used Scenic Route patterned paper from the Charlotte line to cover her Kaiser Craft album. (click on any image to view larger).
Kristie also made a sweet little card to go with the gift to complete the package.
We'll be sending good thoughts and prayers for your niece and her new baby, Kristie! I know she will love this adorable album.

The details in your album are beautiful Kristie, fun to see all the great sets that you used. I am sure you will touch your neice's heart with this very special gift. My prayers are with her as well.

Oh Kristie, the colors you used on this are just delicious! Awesome layouts, and love the idea that you left open spaces for your niece to place favorite new pictures. Sending happy thoughts her way!
