Just in case you thought that the Christmas Cottage stamp set was only for Christmas, Kelly Schirmer found a way to make a hauntingly familiar card...
Recognize the house? It's from our Christmas Cottage Set. Here's what Kelly said: "I was feeling punchy this afternoon, and thought...what if I stamped 3 Christmas Cottages on top of each other...could I turn it into a Haunted House? With some cutting at the edges, paper piecing over the roof and window/door areas, glitter, and extra black ink to cover the edges, I think I did it! I was happily surprised when I tried to sponge the ground in around the trees with white ink...it ended up looking like scary fog!"
Great technique idea Kelly! Here's a close up of the cottage haunted house so you can see how it was put together. (click on the image to see a little bit larger view)
Don't forget that our Christmas stamps are also on sale. The Holidays (both Christmas and Halloween!) are just around the corner!

Now isn't she clever! Great idea.
