Andrea Budjack combined her recycling and her creativity to create this adorable gift that includes a special message inside the bottle.
Andrea says "Why write your message when you can stamp it on fabric to keep and treasure forever?" Andrea cut two strips of fabric, stitched them together, and stamped the top layer with a message. (You can't see the full message, but it says "Live each day knowing you are loved".) She then applied beads, stitching, buttons and glimmer mist. Fold up the message and insert inside the bottle, then decorate the outside of the bottle with paper, ribbon and stamps.
My daughter would love to have something like this sitting on her nightstand that she could pull out and look at on occassion. What a fun gift to send to a new college student, or an old friend that lives far away. What kind of message would you send in the bottle?
