Blog Hop Sketch Challenge & Giveaway

It's time for a challenge and a sweet little giveaway to go with it!  Julie created this great sketch for us and each member of the Creative Team is hosting their OWN challenge at each of their blogs.  Below is a complete list of their blogs and the stamp set that they will be giving away (each one is different!). 

Create a card, layout, or any type of project using the sketch as your inspiration and post a link to your project at one of the creative team blogs.  DON'T post your link here... we're not giving anything away at THIS blog, you need to go visit the Creative Team's blogs.  Any materials are OK to use, but each team member may have added a little extra requirement to their challenge, so be sure to check out the details.  (You may use any brand of stamp sets on your project, this is not limited to just Pink Persimmon). 

A random participant will be picked from each blog on March 1st (your comment must be posted by Feb. 28th at midnight at the Creative Team members blog).  You are welcome to participate at more than one blog, BUT you must use a new entry based on the sketch at each blog. 

 

Here is what the Creative Team made with the sketch.  I've also listed the stamp set that each team member is giving away at her blog.  They may be adding some other details to their individual challenge, so make sure you read the fine print! 

Julie Detlef used a circular version of her own sketch!  Just goes to show that a sketch is to inspire, not limit your ideas.  Julie will be giving away the Love Dove stamp set at her blog. 

Kelly Schirmer used the Tea & Cake stamp set and this is also the one she is giving away at her blog. 

Kristie Larsen flipped the sketch sideways and made this adorable card with Singing Birds.  You can post your card at her blog here if you would like a chance to win the Singing Birds stamp set.   

Linda Beeson used You're a Jewel stamp set to design this elegant card.  Post your card at Linda's blog here for a chance to win the You're a Jewel set.  

Samantha Sibbet used the Flower Greetings stamp set for her take on the sketch.  Visit her blog here for a chance to win this stamp set.

Sketch Challenge

We have a fun and simple sketch challenge for everyone along with a nice little prize package to a random participant.  This sketch was designed by Julie Detlef.   We also have samples from the Creative Team on their interpretation of the sketch.  Now you just need to show us yours! 

Put your name and link to your card/layout into Mr. Linky below when you have your design ready.  We can't wait to see what you create!  A random winner will be chosen on Monday, November 30th, so you have plenty of time to play over the Thanksgiving Holiday.  The lucky random winner will receive all three of our Christmas Stamp Sets, along with their choice of Large or Small Banner AND maybe a few other goodies thrown in as well!  This is a great package to get a jump start on your Holiday Cards!

The Sketch Challenge

Our birthday month is coming to an end and we have our last challenge celebration over at Triple The Sketch with a fabulous sketch challenge.  Patter Cross and her design team have been busy creating adorable cards, tags and layouts and have 3 days worth of great inspiration using her latest sketch and our new stamps.  Check out the sketch post here where they feature layouts, and then be sure to follow up with the next two posts for more design inspiration. 

Now, here's the catch:  DON"T post your sketch here.  Be sure to post your link over at TripleTheSketch.blogspot.com.  Patter has some specific rules to participate in this challenge, so be sure to scroll to the bottom of the post to read the details.

The Cupcake Challenge!

You are going to love the prize for this challenge!  The random winner of this challenge receives 3 new stamp sets from Pink Persimmon (Vintage Cupcake, Tea & Cake, and Sweet Greetings) PLUS an unfinished large 3-tier wood cupcake stand (made by Glue Art & Paper Studio) for you to decorate for your next party.  This is not a wimpy cupcake stand, this thing is solid!  These stands are made of high density MDF and are ready for you to paint, decorate, add ribbon, and then use to display cupcakes, or even use in your craft room to display supplies.  It is 10" tall with three tiers (7"-9"-11" in diameter).  The whole prize package is worth over $50!

The Paper Doll Challenge - June 13-19th

Everyone remembers how much fun Paper Dolls are to play with!  We want to introduce you to our new doll stamp set called "Lottie". She would really like some friends to play with. Create a vintage or modern paper doll that you can play with, mount on a card or layout, or just perch her next to your computer to keep you company. Any format, any size, any style. Use vintage doll images and dress them up with patterned paper and embellishments.

Winning Prize: The new "Lottie" Paper Doll Stamp Set and a selection of vintage embellishments and papers to go with her.  A random participant will be chosen for the winning prize. 

Link up your doll image to the comment section of our blog, or send us the photo in an email.  This challenge ends on Friday June 19th.  

Available with the Lottie Stamp is a pdf download of her body and a dress template.  You are welcome to use this template with any other doll stamp or image if you would like.  You can download the pdf here.

The Pink and Orange Challenge!

Get out your pink and orange supplies and get creative!  This is our first challenge to celebrate our birthday month at Pink Persimmon (we are one year old!). 

June 1st thru June 12th
Create a card, layout, home decor, or any type of art, as long as it uses the colors Pink and Orange (Persimmon).

Winning Prize: $25 gift certificate to the Pink Persimmon online store, plus the 2009 Stamping Ideas book from Scrapbook Trends.

We are participating in an Online Shop Hop with some really fun and interesting online stores and vendors.  We are inviting you to play along with us during the month of May (May 1st through the 31st). 

A special flower image will be hidden in each participating store website starting May 1st. Check each home page for a "hint" on the location of the hidden flower.  Once you find it, click on the image and it will take you to a special page for each store where you will receive a discount coupon and be able to enter your email address.
